Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. About these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Réiteoir mobile and smartwatch applications and any related services (together, the "App").
1.2 The App is provided by Declan Lohan, a sole trader resident in Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at [email protected].
1.3 By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1.4 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The App is intended for match officials of Gaelic games. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the App.
2.2 If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, including any purchase made through the App.
3. Licence
3.1 Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
3.2 You must not: (a) copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the App; (b) reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where the law permits this; (c) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any subscription, access control or usage limit; (d) interfere with, overload or disrupt the App or the servers and services connected to it; or (e) use the App for any unlawful purpose.
4. Subscriptions
4.1 Certain features of the App, including voice notes and match report generation, are available only with a paid subscription ("Réiteoir Pro"). The features included in Réiteoir Pro are described in the App and may change in accordance with clause 10.
4.2 Réiteoir Pro is purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store (each an "App Store"). The price, billing period and any free trial are shown in the App and by the App Store before purchase. Prices may vary by country and include any applicable taxes.
4.3 Where a free trial is offered, it is available to eligible new subscribers only. Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your subscription will begin and you will be charged at the end of the trial.
4.4 Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to Réiteoir Pro until then.
4.5 Payments are processed by the App Store under its own terms. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Requests for refunds must be made to the App Store in accordance with its refund policy.
4.6 We may change subscription prices. Any price increase will be notified to you in advance in accordance with App Store requirements, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Match Reports
5.1 The App can generate a draft match report using information you provide, including match records, voice notes and photographs of team sheets. Drafts are produced automatically, in part using artificial intelligence, and may contain errors or omissions.
5.2 You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting and approving each report before signing or submitting it. By signing a report in the App, you confirm that you have reviewed it and that it is accurate.
5.3 We do not guarantee that any county board, provincial council or association will accept a report generated by the App.
6. No Affiliation
6.1 The App is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Gaelic Athletic Association, the Ladies Gaelic Football Association, the Camogie Association or any of their units.
6.2 Official report forms, rules and rulebooks remain the property of their respective owners. The official published rules take precedence over any information displayed in the App.
7. Your Responsibilities
7.1 The App is a tool to assist match officials. All decisions relating to the conduct of a match, including timekeeping, remain your responsibility.
7.2 The App depends on the proper functioning of your devices. You are responsible for maintaining an alternative means of timekeeping and record-keeping in the event of device failure, loss of power or loss of connection.
7.3 You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to record and submit any information you enter into the App, including information about third parties.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 The App, including its software, design, text and graphics, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence in clause 3, no rights are granted to you.
8.2 You retain ownership of the content you enter into the App, including match records, notes and photographs. You grant us a licence to process that content solely to provide the App's features to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services
9.1 The App relies on third-party services, including the App Stores, subscription management, hosting and speech-to-text and artificial intelligence providers. Features that depend on these services, including report generation, require an internet connection and may be unavailable from time to time.
10. Changes to the App
10.1 We may update, modify or discontinue features of the App. Where a change materially reduces the features of a paid subscription, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and you may cancel your subscription.
11. Disclaimer
11.1 Subject to clause 12.3, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from: (a) the content of any report that you have signed or submitted; (b) decisions made in the conduct of a match; (c) the failure, loss or malfunction of any device; or (d) the unavailability of any third-party service.
12.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for Réiteoir Pro in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Termination
13.1 You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription; see clause 4.4.
13.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms.
14. Apple App Store
14.1 If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies. These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App; if the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims and intellectual property infringement claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo and are not listed on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Changes to these Terms
15.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Where changes are material, we will notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident in another country of the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of that country and may bring proceedings in its courts.

17.1 Questions about these Terms should be sent to [email protected].
